MOHAVE COUNTY – Born and raised in Bullhead City, driven by service and dedicated to fighting for conservative values, Grace Hecht asks for your vote.
Senator Hildy Angius asked her to run for the Arizona House of Representatives because she believes Ms. Hecht is the best Conservative for the job.
“Senator Angius asked me if I’d run, ” Ms. Hecht said. “I prayed, discussed with my family and said yes.”
“I’m running to defend or values, secure our communities and fight for the future of District 30.”
“As a former Bullhead City Council member (2021-2024), local business owner and a lifelong conservative, I’m ready to bring proven leadership to the State Capitol,” she said.
Ms. Hecht has great qualifications and credentials, which more than qualify her for the position she seeks.
Her leadership roles, she said, include: Board Member of River Fund, Inc.; President and Founder of Make Bullhead Better, Inc. (2020-2026); Graduate, Dodie Londen, Republican Women’s Excellence in Leadership (2024); Former Executive Board Member, Western Arizona Council of Governments (WACOG); President, Bullhead City Morning Kiwanis Club (2023-2024); Former Member, Bullhead Area Transit Commission; Former Board Member, Colorado River Women’s Council.
Additionally, Ms. Hecht has worked for Tri State Community Health Care as Community Liaison/Marketing (2022-2026).
She has been recognized for her excellence in community service and awarded for that excellence by First Things First, Champion for Young Children in the La Paz/Mohave Region. She also received the Citizen of the Year, Laughlin/Bullhead Community Service Award in 2023.
Her education is equally impressive. She graduated from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix with a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science (2024); received an Associates degree from Mohave College in Bullhead City in Liberal Arts (2013), and an Associates degree in Theology from Calvary Chapel Bible College in Murietta, GA (2005).
Her long list of endorsements speaks volumes for Ms. Hecht. There are three big problems in District 30 that, if elected, she would like to work on, Ms. Hecht said. The first is water.
“We need more local control, putting Rural Groundwater management in place so decisions about our water are made by our elected officials, not in Phoenix.”
The second problem is Public Safety and our Border, she said.
“Fully fund DPS to recruit and retain more troopers for rural highway patrols and drug interdiction.”
Taxes are the third problem she would work on if elected.
“We need to lower taxes and strengthen the economy, cut red tape for businesses and fight to lower taxes,” she said.
For the future of District 30, Ms. Hecht sees local control, affordable power and housing, and communities built to keep families here. She also sees balanced growth, not Phoenix mandates, she stated.
