KINGMAN, Ariz. – The third annual Rhythm and Brews Festival filled Metcalf Park on Saturday as hundreds turned out for an afternoon and evening of live music, local vendors, and—true to the name—plenty of craft beer.
Seven breweries were represented this year, joined by 15 vendors, rotating bands on the main stage, and a special appearance by the 9‑2‑8 Pin Up Dolls, who hosted a themed “Pin Up” contest as part of the festivities.
Amie Wade, Operations Director for the Kingman Area Chamber of Commerce, said the event serves a dual purpose: community connection and financial support for the Chamber’s work.
“This is a fundraiser for the Kingman Area Chamber of Commerce, so we can continue our work in the community helping and supporting businesses,” Wade said. “Any event that we do like this, it’s really about bringing people together. When they show up, they’re just having a good time.”

The 9‑2‑8 Pin Up Dolls added a splash of vintage flair with a Tiki‑themed competition. Wade offered a shout‑out to the group, noting their colorful dresses and crowd‑pleasing style.
Founder and president Michelle Christ said the group began after being invited to participate in downtown First Friday events. Since then, the Pin Up Dolls have become regular partners with local nonprofits.

“We partner with various non-profits in the area fundraising for them, hosting events like this,” Christ said. Eleven contestants entered this year’s contest, with some traveling from as far as Las Vegas to compete. “We raise funds by taking the entry fees. We get people to sponsor the crowns and sashes, and any money we make we give back to the organization. This year, we did like 17 hundred dollars toward their organization. It’s a lot of fun.”
After the judges’ deliberations, the crowd joined in for the announcement: the 2026 Rhythm and Brews Pin Up Queen title went to Rosie Pops.
With music echoing through the park, local brewers pouring samples, and vendors lining the walkways, the festival once again delivered on its promise of rhythm, brews, and community spirit.
