KINGMAN – One of three women arrested after a traffic stop produced seizure of four pounds of methamphetamine in Bullhead City has been sentenced to the Arizona Department of Corrections. April Jacobs, 38, first entered a plea agreement before she was sentenced during a March 18 hearing in Kingman.
Bullhead City police effected a traffic stop of a BMW and Chevrolet Silverado traveling in tandem on Highway 95 on Oct. 30, 2025 after developing information that a large amount of methamphetamine was being imported into the community. The multiple-pound meth seizure followed a police K-9 alert during an open-air sniff.
Jacobs pleaded guilty to attempted transportation of dangerous drugs for sale. A 2.5-year prison term was imposed by Mohave County Superior Court Judge Megan McCoy.
Two Fort Mohave residents were also arrested during the drug bust.
Tristan pleaded guilty earlier this month and she faces up to two years in prison when sentenced April 8. Charges are pending in the case against Holly Haworth, 46.
