LAKE HAVASU CITY — Havasu Regional Medical Center (HRMC) has announced Alexis Kruser, RN, as a recipient of the DAISY Award for Extraordinary Nurses. The DAISY Award is an international recognition program that honors the superhuman work nurses perform every day, and Alexis’s selection is a reflection of the exceptional care and compassion she brings to her patients.
Alexis was nominated by a patient who described her care as “truly incredible,” citing her kindness, patience, and professionalism as qualities that made a tremendous difference during a stressful hospitalization. The patient noted that Alexis was the first nurse to complete a full, thorough assessment and consistently took the time to explain every aspect of care, helping put the patient’s mind at ease.

What further distinguished Alexis was her commitment that extended well beyond her scheduled shift. In a remarkable display of dedication, she checked in on her patient during her day off — a gesture that did not go unnoticed and spoke volumes about the depth of her character and calling as a nurse.
“It’s never enjoyable to be in the hospital but having a caring and attentive nurse like her made my stay so much more tolerable,” the patient shared in the nomination letter.
The nomination highlighted Alexis’s compassion and unwavering dedication — qualities that exemplify the spirit of the DAISY Award and the standard of care HRMC strives to deliver to every patient.
Alexis’s compassion and dedication are a true reflection of the exceptional care we strive to provide every day at Havasu Regional Medical Center. We are honored to recognize her with this well-deserved award.
