BULLHEAD CITY — Sexual activity involving two Bullhead City teenagers results in a plea agreement that could end in a prison term. Alex Anzalone, 20, has pleaded guilty to two counts of sexual conduct with a minor in a deal dismissing 15 other counts for the same offense.

Prosecutor Rod Albright told Judge Billy Sipe during a Feb. 17 hearing that Anzalone was 19 when he engaged in repeated sexual activity with a 15-year-old girl last spring.

Bullhead City police department spokeswoman Emily Fromelt said the victim provided information to investigators that contradicted the claim by Anzalone and a witness that the victim’s participation was by choice each time.

“The victim reported the sexual conduct occurred multiple times and only a couple of times was consensual,” Fromelt said. “She reported many times were non-consensual.”

Judge Sipe has broad discretion at a March 20 sentencing hearing. Anzalone is eligible for supervised probation, but he could also be sentenced to prison for up to four years.
