NPS awards new contract for Willow Beach services

LAKE MEAD — The National Park Service (NPS) has selected LMNRA Guest Services, LLC for the award of a new 10-year concession contract to operate visitor services at Willow Beach within the Black Canyon area of Lake Mead National Recreation Area in Arizona, about 60 miles north of Kingman.

Under this contract, LMNRA Guest Services, LLC will provide a variety of recreational and visitor amenities, including guided raft tours, marina operations, boat rentals, houseboat lodging, food and beverage services, retail sales, campground management, and land- and water-based fuel sales.

Willow Beach serves as a key access point for exploring the lower Colorado River and Black Canyon Water Trail, offering exceptional opportunities for water-based recreation, scenic exploration, and overnight stays. The new contract is expected to enhance visitor experiences while ensuring environmental stewardship and operational sustainability across all services provided.
