KINGMAN – The City of Kingman is asking for the public’s input through a newly launched community survey focused on the future of indoor sports, recreation, and event space. The survey is available now at www.kingmaneventcenter.com/ and will play a vital role in shaping the direction of a potential multi-purpose facility.
This effort is part of an ongoing market feasibility study conducted by CSL International, a national leader in event facility planning. The goal is to evaluate how a new indoor venue could serve Kingman residents of all ages while also supporting regional tournaments, community events, and sports tourism.
Over the past few months, CSL has conducted in-depth interviews with more than 30 local stakeholders. The next and most critical step is hearing directly from the community through the survey now live on the project website.
“This is the community’s opportunity to share their thoughts on exactly what they’d like to see in a future indoor recreational sports facility or community center,” said Bennett Bratley, Kingman’s Economic Development Director. “Whether it’s indoor walking tracks, basketball courts, fitness areas, space for youth programs, or even places to host community events, community input will help shape a facility designed for Kingman’s needs.”
