World Elephant Day is August 12

Dear Editor, World Elephant Day is August 12,

Thank you for reading The Standard newspaper online!

Kingman heated up last Fourth of July weekend with Downtown’s “Party in the U.S.A.” First Friday!

KINGMAN- July’s “Party in the U.S.A” First Friday was a great way to start off this year’s Fourth of July weekend. Activities for all ages were available; bars were open to adults, water slides and mini games were set up for the kids, and even activities like karaoke. Many blocks had their own mini-themes, with names like “4th St. Block Party” and “5th St. Carnival”. First Friday is open to everyone and anyone! Next First Friday will be held on August 2 with an “Endless Summer” theme.
