No injuries in house fire

BULLHEAD CITY – No one was hurt in a residential structure fire in Bullhead City. Fire Department personnel responded at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 2 to the incident in the 2500 block of Country Club Place.

“Firefighters encountered heavy smoke coming from the roofline of the residence,” a news release said. “Crews worked diligently despite challenges posed by a partial roof collapse. Due to safety concerns, firefighting efforts were adjusted to a defensive strategy.”

The cause of the fire is under investigation. The Red Cross was called upon to assist displaced occupants as the significantly damaged home is uninhabitable.
