Fox agrees to six-year prison sentence in fraud plea

A mandatory six-year prison punishment is mandated in a plea agreement convicting a Kingman man of trafficking stolen property and fraudulent use of a credit card. Robert Fox, 53, is scheduled to be sentenced on April 15 by Judge Billy Sipe.

Prosecutor Jonathan Robinson told the court that the victim, when examining her bank records, discovered that her credit card was used by another party to effect about $1,400 in purchases at Kingman businesses including JC Penney, Big 5, Home Depot, Smiths and Walgreens last October. He said that Fox used the victim’s credit card to buy a gold crucifix at J.C. Penney before pawning the jewelry piece at a downtown Kingman business.
