Bullhead Regional Habitat for Humanity has scheduled a community outreach meeting to begin the process of selecting its next family to receive a home to be built for them to purchase.
The Bullhead City affiliate is part of Habitat for Humanity International which is an ecumenical Christian housing ministry dedicated to selling affordable houses to qualified applicant families. Its vision is a world where everyone has a decent place to live. The outreach meeting is scheduled for Tuesday April 2, at 7:00 p.m. in the Family Life Center of City Bible Church located at 922 Marina Blvd. in Bullhead City.
According to Rich Tempelman, President of the local affiliate, “This will be the third family we have helped move from sub-standard housing into a place they can call home with the pride that comes from ownership. The meeting will explain the Habitat partnership program and end with an opportunity to complete a questionnaire if they have further interest in the program.” The single mother of one of Habitat’s earlier homes explained the results of the program best when she said, “It is so nice to know that my children will have a house to come home to. Our family feels stable now.”
