KPD promotes Freed, Zerr

On Thursday, March 14, Kingman Police Department (KPD) Sgt. Joel Freed was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant and Ofc. Jason Zerr was promoted to the rank of Sergeant.  Lt. Freed began his career with the Kingman Police Department in May of 2000 as a patrol officer.  Lt. Freed’s assignments have included patrol officer, detective and patrol sergeant.  Lt. Freed will be assigned as the MAGNET Task Force Commander.

Sgt. Zerr began his career with the Kingman Police Department in June 2004 as a Communications Specialist. In August 2010 he became a police officer.  Sgt. Zerr will be assigned as a Patrol Sergeant.  KPD is very proud of their continued service and dedication to the Kingman Police Department and the City of Kingman.
