HEATHER RASHELE TOMPERI (HEDGES)

Heather Rashele Tomperi (Hedges)  went home to the Lord Saturday, May 15, 2021 at 51 years old.

Heather is survived by her Sister Misti Hedges; Children Taylor Hedges (Charity Hedges), Dennie Hedges (Paul Burgett), Eric Tomperi and Myriah Tomperi; her Aunt Leanna Butrymowitz, whom she had a special friendship with; many beloved aunts, uncles and cousins; and lastly, her grandchildren Luna, Alice, Grayson, Olive, and Ivy, whom she loved fiercely. She is preceded in death by her parents Sharon and Dennis Hedges, grandson Taylor Hedges Jr., and many others.

Heather graduated from Kingman High School in 1987. She then went on to work as a CNA and Unit Coordinator at KRMC in her early 20’s. She was diagnosed with brain cancer at age 28. She went through treatments and was able to beat that battle with cancer. She would go on to watch her kids graduate (which was her goal when she first got diagnosed with brain cancer), watch them find the loves of their lives, and she was given her favorite title: Grandma. Her grandchildren were the light of her life, and they seemed to have given her a reason to continue living the best she could. She loved them and spoke of them often.

Heather loved AC/DC, The Fast and the Furious movies, and game shows. She had an amazing sense of humor and her laugh was one of a kind. She was amazing at Trivial Pursuit, Uno, and Jeopardy. She loved reading and doing crosswords as well. She spent most of her time making memories with her family and making the best out of the hand she was given. She lived selflessly and loved intensely. She wanted to give her family everything she possibly could and will be remembered mostly for the love she had for all of them.

As much sadness her passing on has caused, we know that she is at peace, not living in constant pain and is reunited with the family that went before her that she has missed so dearly.

There will be a celebration of life held later in the year for family and friends that have stories to share.
