New businesses continue to blossom in Kingman

KINGMAN – Site preparation is underway where the Verde Building Corporation is constructing a Dutch Bros coffeehouse and a Filliberto’s restaurant on Stockton Hill Rd. (SHR) in Kingman. Oregon-based Cole Valley Partners is developing the 2.75-acre parcel just north of the True Value Hardware Store.

“We’re fully permitted, started construction this week and Dutch Bros will be open in January,” said project manager Ryan Ramey. He said the 862 sq. ft. Dutch Bros will be situated on the “hard corner” and that the 2,500 sq. ft. Filliberto’s further off the arterial should be open sometime in April, if not before.

Ramey said they continue marketing two other pads on the parcel for future tenants.

Meanwhile, the new Culver’s store just off SHR, and just east of the Cracker Barrel on Airway Avenue, nears completion. The local commercial real estate team of Dwayne Patterson and Jonny Meins were the brokers for both property transactions.

Patterson said they were also involved in the recent sale of a 3.5-acre lot where the old Kawasaki dealership used to be located at 4195 SHR. The owners of the Star Nursery across the street are the new owners but they indicate they’re not ready to announce what they might do with the parcel.
