Since the introduction of COVID we have seen many reports about the hazards of wearing a face mask, we also see as many that report otherwise. The division on wearing a face mask is also at about 50%. If we eliminate all so-called scientific reports largely remiss of empirical data, we can divide the population into two flocks of sheep. One flock (pro mask ) are sheep who believe in compliance, unity, and caring respect for one another. The other flock (anti-mask ) sheep appear to feel defiance to authority and unity as a community and to one another is an assault on their freedom. What we have is herd identity not herd immunity and we have an issue of virtue over liberty.
Face shield easily resolve any health issues or oxygen deprivation issues associated with masks. With the newest COVID shutdowns in Arizona the secret word is“ Face-Shields ” .
Sunday’s newspaper reported a 65% increase in positives across the nation. Arizona is one of the top four states with the highest positive COVID tests. The more tested the more will be positive. One of every four tested in Mohave County has been positive and 200 thousand have not been tested as of yet. At the moment the death rate is down but the death rate naturally lags behind as those testing positive take sick.
Younger people are getting it because they did not practice social distancing. Younger folks will mostly survive to spread it to older folks, parents, teachers, and family.
There is a woeful lack of knowledge about the virus and PPE which makes any conclusions premature. The virus is already being reported as mutating which can change the viral nature for the worse. This is not a natural virus and cannot be compared to the common flu, this is a man-made warfare virus that warrants every reasonable precaution and mutual respect for each other. Until we the people are willing to unite like that we defeat ourselves and we divide ourselves to be conquered by the many nefarious components that wish to destroy America.
As Groucho used to say: Use your voice for kindness, your ears for compassion, your hands for charity, your mind for truth, and your heart for love. Bet your life, not mine, please wear a mask or a Face Shield.
