Women’s Network Exchange of Arizona to host annual Shopping Extravaganza in Havasu

LAKE HAVASU CITY — To kick off the upcoming holiday shopping craze, the Women’s Network Exchange of Arizona (WNEA) will be hosting their annual Shopping Extravaganza.

WNEA is an affluent Lake Havasu nonprofit committed to assisting motivated women through community events.  Founded by Washington D.C. Attorney Lillian Nestle in 1997, the creator relocated to Havasu wanting to form a group for career minded women.

At a time when Lake Havasu was too small for such a chapter, Nestle aspired to develop a club where women could support each other in their fields as well as in their everyday lives.

This season with over 15 participating vendors, the nonprofit is aiming to spotlight our local small businesses to create a positive community shopping experience.

Businesses wanting to be considered can send an email to wnealhcaz@gmail.com.  Attendees will get the opportunity to explore diverse shopping options that will include crafts, houseware, fashion, wellness, and much more.

Among several companies, some of this year’s vendors will be Tender Turtle, Hyla Southwest, Damsel in Distress with Janina, and Lookout Jewelry. There will also be a cash bar after 11am provided by Kitchen 738 Bar, prizes, and 50/50 raffles.

Admission to this event is free and will be taking place on Saturday December 6 from 9am to 1pm at Quality Inn Suites located at 271 Lake Havasu Ave.

Proceeds of the shopping day will go towards their $1,500.00 scholarships awarded to three to four women per year.  Eligibility requirements of applicants must be women 18 years or older, seeking to attend higher education, or enhance their current workplace capabilities.

Deadline to submit applications is Thursday April 30 2026 and can be accessed by visiting Scholarships | WNEA.

Aside from WNEA’s October bunco fundraiser, the yearly shopping extravaganza’s is another one of WNEA’s largest fundraisers of the year.
