LAKE HAVASU — This month, Women with Willpower will be hosting two very exciting fundraising events to support their ongoing efforts to assist the women in Lake Havasu.
The first event Wednesday, May 14, will be the group’s Fiesta En Mayo occurrence from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at The London Bridge Resort in the King Arthur Room.
The women’s charity team will be celebrating Cinco De Mayo while accepting donations at their Fiesta En Mayo event. Beverages will be available onsite for purchasing along with a 50/50 raffle.
Just three days afterwards, the organization will be decked out in fun cowgirl gear and will head to a local saloon for yet another festive happening. The Saddle Up Giddy Up occasion will have a corn-hole competition, poker hands, raffle prizes, and of course line dancing.
The western themed Saddle Up Giddy Up activity will be happening on Saturday, May 17, from 3 to 6 p.m. Flying X Saloon.
In return, the nonprofit requests of the recipients they’ve helped to pay it forward by being active within the community and provide philanthropy to individuals and organizations.
