Woman selling meth to support her own habit

KINGMAN – A Kingman woman admits selling small amounts of drugs to friends to sustain her methamphetamine habit. Karen Davis, 65, pleaded guilty April 6 to a charge reduced to attempted possession of dangerous drugs for sale.

Some 12 grams of meth were seized when authorities contacted Davis last June at her residence in the 500 block of Sunrise Ave. The case prosecutor informed the court that Davis admitted to investigators that she would purchase “a quarter” at a time, selling some and using the rest of the drugs.

Davis will avoid prison if she complies with probation. She also faces up to one year in jail at a May 4 sentencing hearing.
