Wildfire Preparedness Day scheduled

KINGMAN – Pine Lake Firewise will be hosting a wildfire preparedness day outreach event at the Hualapai Mountain Park on May 2 from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. This event is free and open to the public in order for residents to learn about wildfire behavior and what they can to do to protect themselves and their homes.

Participants include Pine Lake Fire Department, Arizona Department of Forestry and Fire Management, Mohave County Hualapai Mountain Park, Mohave County Department of Emergency Management, Bureau of Land Management Colorado River District Kingman Field Office, Mohave Electric Cooperative, and Unisource Energy Services. These agencies will have equipment on display and free informational literature next to the park office.
