What has John Gillette been doing to improve the lives of his constituents?

Dear Editor,
John Gillette is our Representative in LD30, to the Arizona House of Representatives. So what has he been doing to improve the lives of his constituents? Here’s three bills he has sponsored this year:
HB2806 would require Arizona to verify citizenship using a flawed federal system for everything from voter registration to health care and driver licenses. Arizona already proof of citizenship for getting a driver license, and using this system increases the risk of erroneous purges, disenfranchising eligible voters.
HB2811 is a version of a bill that was previously vetoed. This would criminalize attempts to “obstruct” an ICE arrest, including blowing whistles, speaking loudly, yelling or following ICE vehicles. This could land peaceful protesters, exercising their First Amendment rights, in prison for a minimum of 6 months.
HB2805 was also previously vetoed. This bill would make local school board elections partisan. Our smallest, most democratic institutions should stay above party politics, so they don’t become just another venue for hate-filled, divisive rhetoric and conflict.
I oppose these bills as unnecessary and even harmful, playing partisan politics rather than doing something to help everyday Arizonans with housing, cost of living, dwindling education resources, threats to groundwater, and access to healthcare. You can let Representative Gillette know how you feel about these bills by calling him at (602) 926-4100, or emailing him at jgillette@azleg.com.

  1. Well bless your heart! Rep. Gillette has done so much more than the three good bills you mentioned – vetoed by the furtherest Left govenor in history.Too numerous to mention here.

He has been trying to keep our corrupt, federal-lawbreaking State officials at bay. And reporting other politicians as they play politics with our water rights.
As for School Boards being above politics…again…Bless Your Liberal Heart
..thinking just because an election isn’t partisan that those running aren’t trying to inflict and infect our school boards with their warped views! It must be nice in la-la land!

  2. Go figure this one out folks. John Gillette, the LD 30 House of Representatives endorsed criminal convict “Pastor” David MIchael Rose who claims Lake Havasu is full of “drunken sexual maniacal witches”, even though John Gillette knows David Rose is not eligible to vote, and yet Gillette endorsed this convict. Journalist Jennifer Esposito and political activist Penny Holden have exposed David Rose extensively, and it is a proven fact that David Rose is ineligible, but to boot, John Gillette is exposing voting corruption (which is awesome), but he knows David Rose (the convict he endorsed) is corrupt and is ineligible to even vote let alone have a seat in the Arizona House of Representatives, and JOhn Gillette endorsed him (it’s a hilarious an meaningless practice among a certain clique); What’s going on? It appears there are a few political individuals (to include the owner of KNTR Radio Steven Greely who gave up 500 of his dollars to David Rose’s campaign), who are supprting this convict and the question is “why”? This makes absolutely no sense at all! Lydia Durst Henry, the county recorder is also mentioned in John Gillette’s exposure and she also endorsed David Rose (then later denied it) when asked about David Rose’s inelligibility by Holden, Lydia Durst couldn’t explain how David Rose was able to slip right through her fingers! David Rose went to the Department of Motor Vehicles and registered to vote in MOhave County on January 22, 2022, however, David Rose was put on the Mohave County Voter’s List on January 11, 2022! (11 days prior). What in the world is going on there? Lydia cannot come up with any explanation. Come on Mohave County, try and figure that one out, people! You cannot make this stuff up! People should be asking (since Gillette is so adamant on exposing voter fraud) why he is endorsing this fraud named David Rose? What Gillette has done makes no sense at all. It appears all the money the tax payers have been asked to pony up is being wasted on more fraud.
