Walk Away From Drugs set in Havasu

LAKE HAVASU CITY – The Young Adult Development Association of Havasu (YADAH) will return this year for their annual Walk Away From Drugs event. YADAH is a community association that operates to prevent the onset of substance abuse for the youths of the community.

With a proclamation presented by Mayor Sheehy, this month, participants will take a walk from Ramada A and follow the path all the way to under the London Bridge. There will also be a DJ, resource booths from community organizations along with food, beverages, and a guest speaker. This event is free to the public.

Walk Away from Drugs will be taking place on Thursday, October 24 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at Rotary Community Park. YADAH’s mission is to play a key role by engaging community partners to promote impactful change in Lake Havasu.
