Vollbracht promoted to Captain/Jail Commander

The Mohave County Sheriff’s Office is pleased to announce the promotion of Robert Vollbracht to the rank of Captain/Jail Commander of the Mohave County Adult Detention Facility.

Captain Vollbracht hired on as a Detention Officer in July of 2008, where he spent the majority of his time as an officer working in the Fugitives & Warrants division. He quickly promoted to the rank of Corporal in December of 2009, and further promoted to Sergeant in April of 2012. Three years later, in April of 2015, he was promoted to Lieutenant/Assistant Director of the Adult Detention Facility.

Sheriff Doug Schuster had this to say about the promotion: “It is my pleasure to promote Lieutenant Vollbracht to the rank of Captain and Commander of the Adult Detention Facility. Captain Vollbracht has extensive knowledge and experience of the detention process and I am confident that he will excel in his new role.” Please join us in congratulating Captain Vollbracht for his promotion and wishing him well as he takes on his new role.
