Volk sought in shooting death

KINGMAN – Law enforcement authorities are looking for the suspect identified in a Kingman homicide investigation. A female gunshot victim was reportedly dead at the scene after Mohave County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to the 3100 block of Butler Ave., late Sunday morning, March 3.

Detectives were called in to investigate the death of Marie Ann Noelani Garcia, 30. They identified Nicholas Ray Volk, 32, as the suspect.

“The investigation revealed that Volk left the scene in a tan Jeep, which has been located,” said MCSO spokeswoman Anita Mortensen. “Volk should be considered armed and dangerous.”

Anyone with information regarding Volk’s whereabouts is urged to contact the MCSO (928-753-0753 or 1-800-522-4312).
