  1. This is not right ! Why cancel a parade that is outside in the fresh air. This is for our Veterans who fought, and many died, for our freedom, country, rights and flag. The virus has nothing to do with an outdoor affair. The downtown merchants association should be ashamed of themselves to vote this event down. I am appalled at this decision, as well as so many other Veterans will be when it is found out that this has been decided !!

  2. OK this ridiculousness has got to stop. Those who hate this country and everything it stands for and are doing their best to destroy all our traditions are out every day en masse. And they say, oh no, they’re not causing any “spikes.” The town of eager had a phenomenal 4th of July parade. And they had no so called spikes. Stand up and reclaim your lives, your traditions, and your freedom, while you still have any of them left. If you really are so worried about a virus, wear a mask. But we’ve gotta come out of our closet and stop hiding in fear.

  3. This has turned into a massive imprisonment. I for one am sick of all this to do about nothing garbage! The splash pad is open and guess what no masks are being worn, restaurants @ 50 % compassity are open, big box stores are fully open and masks are only required when the businesses are in the mood and changes from day to day. Small businesses are slowly dying because they are not being allowed to open. The bowling alley and movie theater have been closed for about 6 months now, how long do you think they can hold out without any revenue? Honestly I would much rather shop at small mom and pop businesses than give my money to big box stores and have to deal with their rude and unprofessional business practices! If you feel the need to wear a mask then by all means wear one. As for myself I am so over these fiascos. All this fear mongering is killing our economy. SO JUST STOP AND OPEN UP OUR TOWN BEFORE IT IS LOST FOREVER!
