USCIS to host immigration naturalization ceremony at Grand Canyon

GRAND CANYON – On September 12, 2025, Grand Canyon National Park and United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) will host a special naturalization ceremony at the park’s Mather Amphitheater. Twenty-nine new citizens from 13 countries will take their oath of allegiance amidst the iconic backdrop of the Grand Canyon.

The ceremony will begin with a traditional welcome and include special musical performances and keynote remarks from distinguished speakers. This event offers a unique opportunity for new citizens to experience the grandeur of their new country while reflecting on their new responsibilities.

  • 9:00 a.m.: Candidates begin arriving and checking in
  • 9:00-10:00 a.m.: Media check in
  • 10:00-11:00 a.m.: Ceremony and swearing in of new citizens

Location: Mather Amphitheater, located east of Mather Point near the Grand Canyon Visitor Center (South Rim)
