Upcoming lane closure scheduled for intersection of Stockton Hill and Andy Devine

KINGMAN – The City of Kingman would like to notify residents of a scheduled lane closure beginning at the intersection of Stockton Hill Road and Andy Devine Avenue, extending southbound on Andy Devine to Maple Street. The construction work, which is set to commence on Wednesday, January 22nd, is expected to last approximately eight weeks.

To ensure public safety and accommodate construction needs, one lane will be closed, with occasional two-lane closures required to facilitate the use of larger equipment. Work will primarily take place between 8:00 AM and 3:00 PM, but traffic control measures will remain in place outside of these hours due to the nature of the construction activities.

These restrictions will allow for extension of sewer lines in Andy Devine.  The city encourages the public to be aware of construction workers in the area and to follow directions posted on the traffic control signage in order to provide a safe working environment for workers, the motoring public, and pedestrians.
