Two more COVID-19 cases today, bringing total to 59 for Mohave County

MOHAVE COUNTY, AZ (April 20, 2020) – The Mohave County Health Department MCDPH-Nursing staff was notified this afternoon of two more positive COVID-19 cases. (Despite the similarities, these are two different cases.)  Both are in the Kingman service area and both are in the 65+ age range.  However, the first case is hospitalized out-of state and the second case is in isolation, and recovering in a home also out-of-state.

The two cases are unrelated and both have permanent addresses in Mohave County.  No contacts have been identified within Mohave County. Based on information provided by the patients, both cases are travel-related.

Please note that a case is assigned to Mohave County if the patient’s primary address listed with a hospital or healthcare provides is in Mohave County. That is true here with our Kingman residents.

There are now 21 positive confirmed cases in the Lake Havasu City area, including the three deaths, 32 in Kingman, and 6 in Bullhead City.
