Dear Editor,
My fervent hope is voters will remember the politicians who advocate placing our democracy in jeopardy by endorsing the overthrow of the election results (Mr. Brnovich included). Apparently they feel Trump deserves four more years to totally trash our traditions and institutions as well as convincing politicians into violating the oath Senators and Representatives swear to when they promise to defend the Constitution against all enemies, foreign and DOMESTIC (Trump included). They do NOT swear subservient to the President or his ideologies.
Meanwhile, what we get from Trump and trumpers are claims of fraud, and one rejection after another from the courts including the Supreme Court, (which he managed to pack), over his delusional ideation and baseless conspiracy theories. There are many on the rabid right who support Trump and his minions hoping Justices will succumb to these inane allegations. So far their attempts at anarchy have been tossed out almost without exception.
If Trump had been the epitome of a President most of us could support, he would have been reelected instead of being allowed to continue his dangerous Hitler type ideology of becoming King of America.
Contrast Hillary Clinton’s three million winning votes over Trump. She demonstrated grace, poise and class in defeat. She did not claim elections fraud, the election was rigged, or demand endless recounts, or attempt to nullify the ballots from select states be thrown out by insisting they were illegal. Still we have politicos who refuse to acknowledge Biden is the victor. These patrons actually advocate violence against those who are judiciously executing their duties. It is odd no one complained about Biden votes being tossed out. So what happens on the right if President-elect Biden threatens reprisals against those investigating Hunter’s tax returns, just as Trump has done with many of his administration? I hope someone will try to explain, but I doubt anyone will, or can!
