Trooper pepper sprayed

GOLDEN VALLEY – Multiple units from multiple law enforcement agencies engaged in vehicular pursuit of a suspect who pepper sprayed the face of a state trooper in Golden Valley Wednesday. The Department of Public Safety (DPS) said the ordeal began with a routine traffic stop of a Dodge pickup truck at 4:40 p.m. at the Maverick on Highway 68.

“The male suspect driver was uncooperative with the trooper, sprayed pepper spray in the face of our trooper and fled the scene,” DPS said. “A pursuit ensued. The suspect drove into a mobile home park and began driving in circles, finally coming to a stop after several minutes.”

Christopher Colangelo, 29, Golden Valley, was arrested and booked into the Mohave County Adult Detention Center on aggravated assault, resisting arrest, endangerment and unlawful flight charges.

DPS said the trooper was cleared through on scene evaluation and required no further medical attention.

  1. Why did he spray the trooper the law enforcement around here are criminals there always braking the law like speeding or pulling people over for no reason just to try and get lucky there should really be a look into the law enforcement here they are all corrupt and yeah they might get lucky with a few things but it all revolves around them breaking the law to begin with if there was really a good look taking that anything that the officers and our county or our state have actually arrested people for if you look for the original arresting reason you would find that the cop had no probable cause or any other reason to do it in the first place they just got lucky or they harass the same people over and over again
