Trebes named BHC Police Chief

BULLHEAD CITY – Bullhead City Manager Toby Cotter will be appointing a new Chief of Police at a ceremony on Thursday. Acting Captain Robert Trebes will be sworn in as the agency’s newest Police Chief on Thursday, February 25 at 11:30 a.m. in the Bullhead City Council Chambers.

Trebes replaces Brian Williamson who recently retired. Trebes has been with the Bullhead City Police Department since 2004 when he was hired as a patrol officer. Since that time he has progressed through the levels of the department serving as a Corporal, Sergeant, Lieutenant and Acting Captain. Prior to working for the Bullhead City Police Department, Trebes was a Corrections Officer and Deputy Sheriff for Mohave County.

Limited seating will be available for the public during the ceremony in the City Council Chambers. However, the event will air live on TV4, Facebook and the City’s website.
