Transient fatality in Bullhead City

BULLHEAD CITY – Bullhead City Police report a transient was lying in the roadway at Highway 95 and Thunderstruck when he was fatally injured by a passing vehicle. Officers responded to the incident at about 11:10 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 7.

Police spokeswoman Emily Fromelt said the 29-year-old driver of a 2017 Chevrolet Sonic was unable to avoid striking Anthony Lockwood. She said Lockwood died of his injuries following transport to Western Arizona Regional Medical Center.
