Traffic signal upgrades scheduled at key Havasu intersections

LAKE HAVASU CITY — Lake Havasu City is improving traffic signals at three busy intersections throughout June 2025. Starting Monday, June 9, work takes place at the corners of Lake Havasu Avenue and Industrial Boulevard, followed by Lake Havasu Avenue and Palo Verde Boulevard South, and then at McCulloch Boulevard and Smoketree Avenue. Each intersection is upgraded one at a time, with work expected to wrap up by June 27, weather permitting.

During the upgrades, each location operates as a temporary 4-way stop with signs and warning signage in place to help direct motorists. Lake Havasu Avenue and Industrial Boulevard is scheduled for June 9–13, Palo Verde Boulevard South and Lake Havasu Avenue from June 16–20, and McCulloch Boulevard and Smoketree Avenue from June 23–27.

Motorists are asked to slow down, use extra caution, follow posted signs, and plan for possible delays.
