Three new businesses underway for Stockton Hill Rd.

KINGMAN – Three new business ventures are advancing on Stockton Hill Road, Kingman’s busiest thoroughfare. Site preparation is already underway for an automotive lube and oil store on the near 3-acre parcel at Riata Valley and Stockton Hill Road (SHR).
A quick service Take 5 store is being developed on the north end of the property. Cole Valley Partners previously welcomed a Dutch Bros and a Filiberto’s on other pads on the same parcel.

Initial construction activity is expected in early Sept. for a Horizon Community Bank Branch at 4155 SHR. The bank is operating from a modular building at that location and the building development is staked out to the west of that structure.

President Randy Cook said contractor TR Orr expects to complete construction of the 6,000 sq. ft. bank branch by next July.
Cook said TR Orr will also build the shell that another firm will complete and equip for operation as an Aspen Dental complex. He said the 3,500 sq. ft. office will be located on a 1.1-acre parcel at 3795 SHR, just north of the retail complex that houses the heavily trafficked Starbucks.

Groundbreaking is expected in early Sept., with project completion anticipated next May or June.

  1. Absolutely NONE of these businesses are needed in Kingman. When will City Council and Planning and Zoning realize they will start loosing residents if they don’t start having amenities in Kingman. Many have said what we need better restaurants and no more FastFood places, stores like Costco, Sam’s Club, Hobby and Craft stores. Any resident would be happy to see that and definitely NOT THESE COMPANIES. WE DONT NEED THEM IN KINGMAN WE HAVE PLENTY ALREADY. LISTEN TO RHE RESIDENTS.
