LAKE HAVASU CITY — As we approach the joyous holiday, three churches in Lake Havasu will be celebrating the day before Christmas with their annual candlelight public worships.
Mount Olive Lutheran Church will be one of the congregations providing this holiday tradition. The local church was developed to invite everyone to praise, learn of goodwill, and service.
Throughout the celebratory period, the meeting house already partnered up with the Salvation Army for bell ringers that can be seen at various locations until December 24.
Lakeview Community Church will also be spreading more glow of their chapel. Founded in December of 1980, the church has offered their services to Havasu through spreading the gospel. Various residents consider Lakeview Community Church their “home church.”
Potential participants of candle lighting events may also be interested in attending Lake Havasu Center for Spiritual Living’s public worship.
in many other countries, the church contains over 400 gatherings, study groups, and teaching chapters. Bringing science and religion together, the faith teaches inspiration and provides divine instruments that can bring about change for a better world.
Located at 2170 Havasupai Blvd, Mount Olive Lutheran will be hosting three candlelight services this year. Each ceremony will include sermons at 4pm, 6pm, and 8pm. Including live Christmas carols sang by church goers, the Lakeview Community Church event will begin at 4pm at 1699 West Acoma Blvd. The Lake Havasu Center for Spiritual Living’s Candlelight service will start at 5pm to 6pm at 2041 Swanson Avenue. All ceremonies are scheduled to take place on Wednesday December 24 Christmas Eve in Lake Havasu City.
In celebration of Jesus Christ’s being the brightness of humanity, traditionally, this is the most sacred time of year. Believers feel the lighting of candles will enhance seasonal spirituality and brighten up a world filled with hardships.
