The Chainsaw Genius

letter to the editor

Dear Editor,

Trump said, “Trust Elon Musk, he is a genius. He know what he is doing.” The Unabomber was a genius, too.

I say this because we have never seen in the history of our country our government agencies blown up in the way they have by Elon Musk. Like a bull in a China shop, he proudly claims the name “The Chainsaw Genius” when he shredded government agencies and programs that benefited the lives of millions.

An immigrant born and raised in South Africa, Elon built a multi-billion-dollar business empire on U.S. government aid (over $38 billion in taxpayer money) while paying less in taxes than the average worker.

And, with that said, with no shame he goes after the people and government programs that helped him get to where he is at today. With his pot-smoking, pill-popping tech bros (one named Big Balls), he raided government offices hacking into their computers, altering and destroying information (as was reported).

Then to add further insult, he gleefully danced with a chainsaw because he had put tens of thousands of workers out of a job. As well, he pulled the plug on life saving aid to the most vulnerable. Without batting an eye.

Bill Gates (who gives billion to the sick and starving) said this when asked about Elon Musk: “The picture of the richest man in the world killing the poorest children in the world is not a pretty one.”

The question is, what does that get anyone other than it hurts humanity? But then Elon did say, “The downfall of western civilization is empathy.”

So that says it all about Elon Musk. The poster boy for the immigrant that has taken more money from our government in modern history. Yet Elon whines and complains and said, “he’s a whipping boy.”

For a genius, he is totally clueless as to why he is disliked by millions. His arrogance and narcissicm got him into deep doodoo when he hooked up with Trump. He bribed voters with million-dollar checks and enthusiastically gave the Nazi salute at rallies with no respect or consideration for those who lost family and loved ones during Hiltler’s reign of terror. Although Elon did say, “We should forget about Nazi Germany anklet go of the guild and just get over it.”

No history of that magnitude should be taken lightly or forgotten, lest it be repeated. One man with such limited understanding of the teachings of the greatest humanitarians the world from Christ to Nelson Mandela (first black president of South Africa), all the more, should not have the kind of power and control that Elon Musk has with his worldwide X social media platform, SpaceX, and Starlink.

It is chilling to think what he could do if he woke up one morning on the wrong side of the bed. It’s not hard to imagine as we watch the fallout between him and Trump, and him not getting what he wanted in Trump’s hotly debated bill. Unfortunately for him, it will hurt his businesses.

Tesla and his plans to “Occupy Mars” and whatever the tariffs are doing to his biggest factory in the world in China. All I have to say to that is get in line with the rest of us. We don’t get what we want with the tariffs or DOGE or the Big Beautiful Bill. Not by a long shot. But no doubt Elon feels he’s been had, at a tune of $277 million he put out to get Trump elected. All the more how symbolic it was seeing Elon leave the White House with a black eye.

But no tears for the Chainsaw Geniuses, he didn’t walk away empty-handed. He fired the government watch dogs that were investigating him for illegal activities and hacked into a boatload of sensitive government data. Including all of our personal info from A to Z. And it all happened on Trump’s watch.

The takeaway should be this: just because someone is a genius doesn’t mean their smart at everything or can be trusted.

JM
