Teresa Lynne Faatz (née Warner)

June 3, 1960 – March 20, 2024

In loving memory of our beloved daughter, sister, partner, and friend who left on May 20, 2024. Born in Glendale, CA. and resident of Kingman, Az. for the past 24 years. Teresa was a veteran of U.S. Naval Intelligence Services Russian language program at the Defense Language Institute in Monterey, CA.and spoke fluent Russian and Spanish. She attended Arizona State University and was an accomplished pastry chef in her 20’s.

Teresa was an accomplished Master Gardener, who loved the natural world and chose to live a simple life which included countless hours for many years at the Kingman Dig It Community Garden where she made numerous contributions of ideas, structures, and beautiful and interesting gardens. She liked trying to grow new and unusual plants of all kinds. She loved music, and she loved animals of all kinds, particularly her cats. She was a world traveler and an avid reader with an inquisitive mind who enjoyed conversational and controversial discussions about philosophy, spirituality, history, and other cultures.

Those who knew her considered her an outstanding person of integrity who spoke her mind, who respected and listened to what others had to say. She was an independent woman…kind, loving and strong. She was unique, one of a kind.

She is survived by her long-time partner, Carol, her brother, Charlie/Ed, her mother, Carole, her step-father, Wilford, and her many cats. Teresa, we send you on your way with deep love. You will be deeply missed here by those of us who knew you and love you.
