Temporary overnight traffic shifts planned on Stockton Hill Road

KINGMAN – Motorists traveling on Stockton Hill Road should plan for temporary overnight traffic changes beginning Thursday, January 15 at 11 p.m. through Friday, January 16 at 6:30 a.m. Temporary traffic control will be in place near the new Tropical Smoothie Café location as crews continue work on a utility crossing beneath the roadway.

During overnight operations, traffic between Riata Valley Road and Plaza Drive will be shifted in both directions into the outside lanes while crews work in the inside lanes.

To complete the project, crews are scheduled to return on Friday, January 16 between 9 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. During daytime work, traffic will be shifted into the inside lanes so crews can complete work in the outside lanes.

Drivers should expect lane shifts, reduced speeds, and heavy equipment in the work zone overnight. Motorists are encouraged to use caution, follow posted signs, and allow extra travel time.
