Temporary closure, restrictions of public lands announced for Parker races

LAKE HAVASU CITY – The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Lake Havasu Field Office announces the temporary closure and restriction of selected public lands for the 2020 Best In The Desert’s Parker 250 and 425 races in La Paz County. The temporary closure will be in effect Jan. 11-12 and Jan. 24-25. The temporary restrictions will be in effect Jan. 9-12, and Jan. 22-25.

Access to public lands in and around the race course will be temporarily closed, restricted, or designated as spectator areas. Restricted and closed areas will be marked at key access points with signage, fencing, or barriers. Maps and information regarding both designated race course closures and impacted restricted areas are attached. Copies of the maps are also available at the Lake Havasu Field Office, 1785 Kiowa Ave..
