Teen sought in drive-by shooting

BULLHEAD CITY – A teenager is wanted for questioning for his alleged involvement in a January 3 drive-by shooting incident in Bullhead City. The suspect is identified as Zachary Brooks, 19.

Spokeswoman Emily Fromelt said Bullhead City police officers responded after witnesses reported shots were fired from a grey Ford Mustang at an apartment in the 400 block of River Glen Drive. No one was inside the apartment and there were no injuries.

The unoccupied suspect vehicle was located on Lee Avenue a short time after the gunfire. Fromelt said one 9mm shell casing was located in the vehicle and others were collected where the drive-by occurred.

Anyone with information regarding the incident or the whereabouts of Brooks is urged to contact the police department, 928-763-1999.
