Teen charged with violence at hospital

KINGMAN – Kingman police report the arrest of a teenage patient who became unruly and violent at Kingman Regional Medical Center. Police Chief Rusty Cooper said the incident occurred in the KRMC Emergency Department at 3:25 a.m. on Nov. 16.

Cooper said the 17-year-old male was verbally abusive while being treated for a high level of alcohol intoxication. He said the teen head butted a security guard and a physician’s assistant who were treated for their injuries.

Cooper said once stabilized, the teen was arrested and booked into juvenile detention for two counts of aggravated assault.
