CHLORIDE – Grab your best gal and saddle up your favorite horse and join Chloride in celebrating the founders of this historic townsite. This year the Old Miners’ Day festivities are on Saturday, June 8. Chloride sets aside this day to honor the hundreds of hard rock miners who found silver, gold, zinc, turquoise and copper in the Cerbat Mountains just east of town.
