Farney to prison for attempted sexual assault

KINGMAN – A Kingman man who admits engaging illegal sexual activity with a teenager is going to the Arizona Department of Corrections. Russell Farney, 46, is being convicted of two charges reduced to attempted sexual abuse of a minor in a plea agreement unveiled Tuesday, Sept. 17. Deputy Mohave County attorney Marcie Mininberg told Superior Court Judge Lee Jantzen that Farney engaged in illegal touching of a 15-year-old girl.
