Editor’s note: The following was written and read by the author at a candlelight vigil held this past Saturday night in Kingman for Mohave County, honoring the people of Minnesota and remembering lives lost.
What’s happening in Minnesota is not some spontaneous uprising born from genuine civic need.
Friendship is a two-way street. If a relationship is totally dependent on one person it won’t last very long.
Topock Marsh has been in the news again lately because of a huge fire that burned through almost 4k acres of dead cattails on its West side. As devastating as this seems the new growth should attract more birds next year.
At the January 13, 2026 Kingman City Council work session, residents were told they were witnessing a “strategic plan.”
