MCC expands to add a new Phlebotomy course to its non-credit academic division – registration ends soon  

MOHAVE COUNTY – Mohave Community College is adding Phlebotomy to its Community Education division’s list of non-credit classes. This means students have the option of learning Phlebotomy from both the college credit and non-credit academic divisions.

Many people may not realize that MCC offers credit and non-credit classes. What’s the difference between credit classes and non-credit classes? Simply put:

* Non-credit classes are generally short-term, with no grades and the student does not earn a college degree upon completion.

MCC brings back Bighorn Trek event to Kingman Campus

MOHAVE COUNTY – Mohave Community College is hosting its third annual Bighorn Trek event for high school students, community members, MCC students and community partners. The event is from 9 AM-1 PM, Wednesday, Oct. 16, on the MCC Kingman Campus, 1971 E. Jagerson Ave. The event is free to attend.

5th Grade Academy continues with Mohave Accelerated Learning Center

MOHAVE COUNTY – Mohave Community College hosted it’s 5th Grade Academy with Mohave Accelerated Learning Center (MALC).

Fifth grade students from MALC visited MCC’s Bullhead campus Tuesday to learn about the various programs at MCC. Students got to tour Auto Service and Auto Collision Programs, Welding, HVAC, Dental, Nursing and much more. Students were able to make Pico de Gallo with the Culinary program for parent night at their school.
