Light the Night event sees 25 years

LAKE HAVASU CITY – Last week the Lake Havasu Fire Administration honored fallen firefighters with a five-day Light the Night tribute. The homage began on Wednesday, May 1 and ended on Sunday, May 5 at dusk at the Lake Havasu Fire Department Administration location, the London Bridge, and residents along with local businesses also participated in this nightly event.   The honoring was inspired by the National Fallen Firefighters tradition which was established 25 years ago. All locations were lit in red in remembrance of these firefighters that sacrificed their lives in the line of duty to save the lives of others. The celebration…
