Charlie Kirk was a man who had opinions and vocalized them. He believed in free speech. He also believed in the right of free speech for those who disagreed with him.

In light of increasing political violence in this country, I’m not sure which extreme—radical left or radical right—bears more responsibility for the bloodshed, but one thing is painfully clear: the moral fabric of this nation is unraveling at an alarming pace.

Once again, and again and again, killing does not belong in politics or anywhere else.
