LAKE HAVASU CITY — Lake Havasu City announces the Lake Havasu City Fire Department has been awarded the prestigious EMS Partner in Care recognition from the American College of Cardiology (ACC).
LAKE HAVASU CITY – Interested in a career in firefighting? Join the Lake Havasu City Fire Department (LHCFD) at their upcoming open house recruitment event next Wednesday, October 2, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the LHCFD Training Facility at 2065 Kiowa Boulevard North.
LAKE HAVASU CITY – At approximately 3:30 p.m., Monday, August 26, a garage fire was reported by witnesses driving in the 3500 block of Oro Grande Boulevard. The first arriving fire company reported smoke and flames coming from the garage doors of a double RV garage. Five Engine Companies, one Medic Unit, and a Battalion Chief responded to the incident and gained control of the fire within 25 minutes. The occupants evacuated the house safely. There were no reported injuries to the firefighters.
LAKE HAVASU CITY – The Lake Havasu City Fire Department (LHCFD) is hosting an open house recruitment event on October 2, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the LHCFD Training Facility located at 2065 Kiowa Boulevard North. The event is designed to provide the community with an opportunity to learn more about the rewarding career of firefighting and the recruitment process for the LHCFD.
During the open house, attendees will have the chance to meet with current firefighters, learn about the day-to-day responsibilities of the job,
LAKE HAVASU CITY – The Lake Havasu City Fire Department is pleased to invite the public to its Inaugural Dedication and Push-in Ceremony for its new fire engine. The ceremony takes place next Tuesday, August 13, at 9 a.m. at Fire Station 3, located at 3620 Buena Vista Avenue, where the engine is housed to service the south side of town.
