LHCFD hosts open house recruitment

LAKE HAVASU CITY – The Lake Havasu City Fire Department (LHCFD) is hosting an open house recruitment event on October 2, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the LHCFD Training Facility located at 2065 Kiowa Boulevard North. The event is designed to provide the community with an opportunity to learn more about the rewarding career of firefighting and the recruitment process for the LHCFD.

During the open house, attendees will have the chance to meet with current firefighters, learn about the day-to-day responsibilities of the job, and get an overview of the fire department’s training program. Recruitment staff will be on hand to answer questions about the application and hiring process and provide information on the qualifications and requirements for becoming an LHCFD firefighter.

“We are excited to open our doors to the community and showcase the important work that our firefighters do every day,” said Fire Chief Pete Pilafas. “This is a great opportunity for anyone interested in a career in firefighting to learn more about the process and what it takes to join our team.”
