Bullhead City Animal Shelter offers selection of dogs for adoption

BULLHEAD CITY —Staff at the Bullhead City Animal Shelter are working to find forever homes for the 34 dogs currently housed there.

“We have more dogs than the building is designed to hold,” said Bullhead City Animal Shelter Manager Alyson Harms. “The bright side is if you’re looking for a specific companion, we’ve got a lot to choose from. The downside is they all need homes.”

Best Friends Animal Society has stepped up to help, providing a grant to the City to cover the cost of adoptions for 30 dogs.
