I am certainly looking forward to the fall and cooler weather!
I wanted to share with you that your 2024 property tax statements will be coming out toward the end of this month.They will have a new and improved design for better readability and significant cost savings! The new one-page statement is more efficient and fits on a single legal-sized page! Saving on paper, postage and printing! That’s a 9% reduction in cost, that is nearly $13 thousand dollars in savings!

As your Mohave County Treasurer, I am excited to bring you this month’s County Corner and share with you exciting news about the new bid process that allows for Over-the-Counter (OTC) sale of unsold tax deeded parcels that were previously available for purchase at a Tax Deed Sale. The outcome of this process is that you are purchasing land, not a lien. This new OTC bid process will begin this September and end November 30th. Starting in 2025, this process will then be available annually between April 15th and November 30th.
